Czech startup steps onto the main stage at the Startup Grind Global Conference 2022

04/26/2022

Startup Grind, the world's largest community of founders, startups, creators, and innovators, was founded by Derek Andersen in 2010 to provide entrepreneurs with education and opportunities to build, grow, and scale their companies. People from all over the globe started to share their expertise and advice, the community has even developed offshoots in Los Angeles, New York, London, Tel Aviv, or Beijing. Today, half of the Startup Grind is led by founders themselves that bring the community together through educational content, various events, and conferences. In 2022, Startup Grind organized a global conference that began with a series of events in the offshoots and ended with a gathering in Silicon Valley on April 12 and 13 (in-person and online).

The Czech Republic was represented by Vanda Seidelova, the co-founder and CEO of Twigsee, a platform that digitizes administrative tasks of kindergartens and connects parents with their kindergartens to save everybody's time and money. Twigsee is not a newcomer in Silicon Valley as they've already participated in the CzechMatch program hosted by the CzechInvest Office in San Francisco in March. During the conference, the startup had the opportunity to take on the main stage for a scaleup competition in which it presented its pitch to attract investors.
